BlueVoda Help & Support
If you've come to this page I would guess you are a BlueVoda user and
maybe you have seen around the Vodahost forums. If you have you'll know
me as DarrenC and I offer as much help as I can there on a voluntary basis.
Although I use many different types of software these days, I am very fond of BlueVoda as this was the software that allowed me to cut my teeth into the world of website building many years ago.
BlueVoda is an excellent tool for building websites and the possibilities are endless. All that is required from the user is the creative vision, a logical thought process and the patience to see things through but for lots of people, just getting started can be challenging.
I have helped many people with various elements of their site build, either by emails or phone calls. I have even built sites for BlueVoda users and emailed the users their BV files so they still retain the control over the site which is usually the main reason they started using BlueVoda for in the first place.
Here is a complete site I made for Lynn Ross http://www.lynnross.com/. I've never met Lynn, neither have I spoke to her because we live 1000's of miles apart but with effective email communication between us we put together a pretty good website. Lynn now has the BV files so if at anytime she wants to update anything, she doesn't have to depend on me or any other web designer.
A similar story, a guy called Anthony was working on Bluevoda website for 'Adam's Place' in Kalkan, 1000's of miles from me, http://www.adamsplacekalkan.net/. Telephone calls would have been expensive so again using the power of email alone and by following Anthony's clear instructions, we put together a pleasant looking website.
Closer to home in the UK, I have put together a website structure for Andrew http://www.justparkas.co.uk/. Now this website will have many pages so for Andrew I created and linked a few pages together which can also be used as templates. I also included Naval Designs excellent post on how to create a single navigation menu system to good effect here. Andrew will now go on and complete his site in his own time.
